Fashionable People, Questionable Things. | But I can’t wait for Sunday Morning, Sunday Morning | Fashionable People, Questionable Things.

Well, we have some awesome news to share with you. As many of you know, our blog is now a daily item on Haligonia.ca What you do not YET know, and what we are so THRILLED to tell you, is that we are going to be collaborating further with Haligonia.ca to shoot some awesome webcasts based on our blog. While L-A and I are still deliberating over the format, our first webcast will be shot this Sunday, July 19, at the Tall Ships Mainstage on the Halifax waterfront. Can you believe it??!! This is as epic as Britney’s official comeback at the 2008 MTV Awards.

The theme of the half hour spot will be What to Wear on a Tall Ship. I know, right? AWESOME. A couple of our readers have volunteered to model wares from local retail outlets, all with a nautical vibe! We’ll also be showing some items from our favourite Resort Collections (on a screen, sadly, Chanel was not able to lend us clothes in time : ) ). I believe you can also watch our segment online here, but we’ll double check and update for you.

We hope you can make it down to the Mainstage (at the “Wave” on the waterfront) for 12pm to 12:30pm on Sunday! Also! We need your help! We’d like to have a Q&A session, and are looking for you to send us your burning questions (not physically, see a doctor about that) on all things fashion – particularly, nautical stylins’.

Once we have more details about the ongoing collaboration with Haligonia.ca we’ll share with y’all. Until then, remember, you’re pretty.

Your event sounds amazing. I wish I could make it, but will be sending good vibes. I so enjoy this blog, its funny (the Anne of Green Gables 3000 comment had me snortlaughing) and smart and informative. I have a question for your nautical themed q&a: I have a great navy and white striped shirt from H&M with a boat neck, but have a hard time figuring what to pair it with. When I wear it with khakis, I feel like Im channeling Gene Kelly in Anchors Aweigh – you know, when he’s dancing with the little cartoon mouse?
    Advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks again,
    Jane

      Hey Jane!

Love the question. Clearly, L-A and I will need to put appropriate thought into this. We’ll get an answer to you and make sure to add it to the agenda for the show!

Thanks for your comments about the blog. It’s nice to hear our nonsensical ramblings are amusing peeps : )
